About these terms

These terms apply to every journey booked with Galaxy Airport Taxi ("we", "us", "our") on this website, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp. By making a booking you agree to them.

Bookings

Online bookings need at least 3 hours' notice and can be made up to 365 days ahead. For anything sooner, please call us on +44 7470 046660.

When your booking is made you get a booking reference. Please check the details we send you, and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

Please give us the correct pickup address, date and time, the number of passengers and the luggage you are bringing. For airport pickups, give us your flight number so we can follow your flight.

Prices

The price shown when you book is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, not per person. It includes airport drop-off and parking charges for your journey.

The journey fare is doubled at Christmas (24 December, 6pm to the end of 26 December) and New Year (31 December, 6pm to the end of 1 January). The calculator shows this before you book.

Meet & Greet (your driver meets you in the arrivals hall) costs £6. Each extra stop costs £10, plus the extra distance. Child seats are free (up to 3 per booking).

Waiting time beyond the free period (see below) is charged separately.

Passengers and luggage

The vehicle you book must be right for the number of passengers and the luggage you tell us about. If you bring more, the driver may not be able to take everyone safely, and we may need to send a larger vehicle at an extra cost or end the booking.

Large or unusual items, such as bikes, golf bags or pushchairs, must be agreed with us before you travel.

Every passenger must wear a seat belt. Children must use a suitable child seat; please request the seats you need when you book.

Waiting time

For airport pickups, your driver waits up to 60 minutes free of charge from the time your flight actually lands. For pickups at an address, the first 15 minutes after your booked pickup time are free. After that, waiting is charged at £20 an hour, worked out by the minute.

Flight delays

We follow your flight using the flight number you give us. If it lands late, your 60 free minutes start from the actual landing time, and a delay is never charged. If your flight is cancelled or diverted, please call us on +44 7470 046660 as soon as you can.

Booking cancellation and refunds

If you cancel a booking and the cancellation is eligible for a refund under the applicable cancellation policy, we will process your refund within 7 business days.

This 7-business-day period is the time we take to process the refund. After that, your bank or card provider may need additional time before the funds appear in your account.

Cancel 24 hours or more before your pickup time: full refund of anything you have paid.

Cancel less than 24 hours before your pickup time, or if the passenger doesn't arrive: no refund.

Changes to your booking

To change a booking, email info@galaxyairporttaxi.co.uk or call +44 7470 046660, quoting your booking reference. If the change affects the price, for example a different address or a larger vehicle, we will tell you the new price before we make the change.

Our responsibilities

We will do our best to collect you at the agreed time and take you to your destination by a sensible route. Journey times can be affected by traffic, roadworks, weather and other things outside our control, so please allow enough time for your flight.

If we can't provide your journey, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund anything you have paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
